As winter started making its presence felt in November, the strategy for the grand mission remained firmly focused on the indoors. When the temperatures drop, the best place to find guaranteed feline interaction is, without a doubt, a dedicated establishment with central heating and hot tea.
Cornwall Cat Café
This month, the quest took me slightly further afield with a trip down to Cornwall. The target was the local Paws & Purrs Cat Café in Cornwall, which provided a wonderfully cosy refuge from the autumn chill. This is more of a cafe that the cats frequent than youre typical cat cafe. The cats are free to roam the farm but they know that visitors get given treats, so they are most welcoming! You can also look around the farm while you’re there. really great place.
The residents were incredibly accommodating, and I was able to spend some quality time getting to know them. Seven brilliant professional café cats were successfully greeted, petted, and officially added to the grand total. It is honestly remarkable how reliable the UK’s network of cat cafés has become for keeping this mission on track during the colder months!
