I would pet 500 cats … and I would pet 500 more

It all started with a viral video. You’ve probably seen it – the one where someone changed the lyrics to The Proclaimers’ hit, “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” to be about petting 500 cats.

Watching that video, a thought occurred to me, how great would it be to actually do that? And just like that, the grand mission was born: Pet 1,000 cats.

It sounds like a lot (and it is), but every epic journey has to start somewhere.
