After the absolute madness and the record-breaking haul of September, October was always going to be a slightly quieter affair. You simply cannot maintain an 85-cat-per-month pace without turning this grand mission into a full-time job! However, the quest never truly sleeps, and this month brought a very respectable 8 cats to the ledger.
Pause Cat Café
As the autumn weather started to close in, I decided that an indoor, climate-controlled feline encounter was the best strategy. So, I took a trip down the coast to visit the Pause Cat Café in Bournemouth.
There is something inherently brilliant about escaping the brisk seaside wind to sit in a cosy room filled with professional, tea-time felines. The residents of the café were incredibly welcoming, and I managed to successfully log 8 of them whilst enjoying a hot drink. When the weather turns, relying on the trusty cat café network across the country is absolutely the way forward.
