August might have been a quieter month on the travel front, but the mission didn’t slow down one bit, bringing in a highly respectable 8 cats. And once again, I have one particular feline to thank for single-handedly keeping the momentum going.
The Most Valuable Player of the Endeavour
The absolute hero of this entire mission has struck again. All eight cats added to the tally this month were Sparkle’s kittens!
I am starting to realise that this single feline family tree is practically the foundation of my entire spreadsheet. When the local streets are quiet and the cat cafés are fully booked, I can count on Sparkle’s ever-growing dynasty to provide a reliable and incredibly fluffy boost to the numbers.
Having eight kittens running around is absolute chaos in the best way possible. It is a brilliant way to inflate the stats, and spending an afternoon sorting out who is who for the official log is tough, but someone has to do it. Unfortunately we also lost Pandy, who suffered a spine injury in an accident. So we decided to keep ones of the kittens, that we called Luna
