Spring was officially in full swing, and April brought a very respectable 8 cats to the tracker. This month was a perfect example of how you don’t always have to travel far to make progress on the mission – sometimes, the cats are literally right on your doorstep.
The Ginger Neighbor
You can’t ask for a more convenient feline encounter than walking out your front door and seeing a friendly face waiting for you. A ginger kitty from just across the road wandered over for some attention, proving that being neighborly pays off when you have a quota to hit.
Sparkle’s Legacy Continues
Once again, the MVP of the entire 1,000 Cat Mission delivered. Sparkle’s kittens contributed a magnificent 7 pets to the April total! This particular batch included the wonderfully named Yuffi who went to live with my brother-in-law and family (like they didn’t already have enough cats!). At this point, the sheer volume of felines produced by Sparkle and Pepe is single-handedly keeping the dream alive. Having seven kittens on hand is an absolute cheat code for this mission.
